This month’s questions include:
❓What resources does the French government make available for people who need to learn French?
❓How long is the process for getting a Passport Talent Profession Artistique? I will need to communicate this to employers when applying to jobs so that the visa arrives before the start date.
❓What are important first steps to know when attempting to obtain a visa in France (US citizen) with a chronic illness?
❓How long does it take to get a business visa (roughly)?
❓If we don’t work but have US income, I gather that we’ll need to pay the PUMA tax. It sounds like it’s per person and not per family? How does it work when the parents have joint income? Do we split it in two? And what about the children?
❓If you sell on Etsy but are otherwise retired what visa do you apply for ?
❓My wife and I would like to retire full time in France in 10 years. We currently own a house in northern France. We currently spend about almost 4 months total vacationing in our small city throughout the year. We would like to know your recommendation for what path we should take for French citizenship, or at least long stay visas for people in our situation. Merci!
