Some of this month’s questions include:

❓My English boyfriend has been resident & working as an artisan in France for the last 32 years. I now want to join him with a view to residency & for us to start a new gite letting business together. What type of visa should I be applying for please?

❓How difficult to change from a work visa to a non work visa in France

❓Is there a visa type that will allow you not to get into the French Tax system such as volunteering in a church, etc.

❓How difficult it is to find a long-term rental for retirees from US who are new in France?

❓What is the minimum number of months required in the country per year? I have to travel back and forth to the US for a couple of years while my child is in school. I will be on a long stay visa for autoentrepreneur and have the ultimate goal of applying for citizenship.

❓What can I do to push my residence permit application (titre sejour) after it has taken more than 3 months of processing (in Paris)? I have tried emailing and calling to no avail.

❓Do you have recommendations / guidance for health insurance upon arrival? (Something to cover me in the 3 months before eligibility for national health care.)
