In this video, Allison talks about studying abroad in France and figuring out how she would be able to come back to France to live, first on a student visa and then permanently after she and her husband married. She mentions the challenges that came with applying to a master’s program on her own, without the support of a study abroad program, and how she was responsible for all the administrative and bureaucratic processes. Allison also talks about how to obtain the correct visa for your move to France, and most importantly how having a vision of what you want to do in France will help determine the best visa for you. Five steps to follow to bring your dream life to a reality. Create your vision. Identify all the different aspects of your vision and focusing on where your income will be coming from. Determine the most important parts of your vision and their potential timeline. Figure out the right visa type for your application. Begin with the most impossible and income generating aspects of your project, select the correct administrative structure to make sure your business is functioning properly and legally. Allison also discusses the 22 different types of visas that exist, and addresses some questions related to visas such as the passeport talent.
